HOW TO CREATE MULTIPLE DEDICATED SERVERS

- First you must know how to create a dedicated server.

- When you created a shortcut of igi2.exe to make dedicated server you write ( window quiet serverdedicated port26001 level03 ).- So make another shortcut of your igi2.exe and write ( window quiet serverdedicated port26002 level03 ).- You can make up to 15 dedicated servers by making shortcuts of your igi2.exe and putting ports 26001 to 26015.- Your Multiple dedicated servers are created.

HOW TO OPEN PORTS

Unblocking ports is very important because if your ports are blocked then your server is not going to be visible for others in the server list (search internet) or players will not be able to join your server because it will not respond if the ports are blocked so follow the steps given below to help you make your server visible and playable for every one.


(In windows xp  go to run and type cmd) or (In windows 7 go to startup and in search programs type cmd) and hit enter command prompt will appear. Now in cmd type ipconfig and hit enter there you will see your ip address and default Gateway etc. Now open your browser and type your default Gateway in the address bar and hit enter.when you type your default Gateway in your browser it will ask for username and password type admin for both if u didn't put a password manually.


Now every router have different settings so find NAT and open it.In NAT there you will find virtual server or server etc so click on virtual server or server. In virtual server there you will see start port number and end port number.So in start port number type 26001 and in end port number type 26015 and select your protocol UDP.There you will also see local ip address or ip address etc so type your ip address there if you don't know your ip address follow step 2 above.Write your application name IGI 2 Covert Strike if it asks for it.Now save or submit.Its done you have opened your ports.

How to make a dedicated Server?

Steps For Making  Dedicated Server

•  Create a shortcut of your igi2.exe.

• Now right click on it and and open properties.

• Now in target box put a space at the end and write ( window quite serverdedicated port26001 level03 ).

• If you want to run different maps then put level01 , level02 , level03 , level04 or level05.

2. Forestraid, 
3. Sandstorm, 
4. Timberland, 
5. Chinese Temple.

• Now click on apply and then click on ok.

• Then double click on your igi2.exe shortcut.

• Your dedicated server is created.

Diffrence Between Dedicated and Non-dedicated Server

Today i will tell you the basic difference between a non-dedicated server and Dedicated server 

Dedicated server- 

Server in which the admin of server is not necessary to play i.e. if admin of server leaves the server still server will remain open until admin want to close it.

Non Dedicated Server-

Server in which the admin of server is necessary to play i.e. if Admin quits the game the server will be shut down automatically not like dedicated server.

Advantages of non dedicated server-

1. Admin will always get 0 ping so no lag for admin.

2.Once You open ur server no need of putting rcon again just type command as you are already authorized.

Advantages of  dedicated server-

1. Admin can quit game without closing server.

2.Admin Can use Lista program (it is a server controller)

How to Create a Non dedicated server?

Make Your Own Server in Few Easy Steps

• Open Your IGI2 Folder.Then Go to Pc folder in it.

• Now Start igi2.exe

• Click on Multiplayer.

• Now Start Server.

• Choose Your map , By clicking Select maps.

• After Type Your Server Name then Players.

• After All done Just Click on Start.

Your Server will be Started!!!!
